Construction Phase

Ken Krumdieck’s quality craftsmanship begins during the construction phase. Once construction begins, the overall quality and details of your building project are closely managed by construction superintendent, Kevin Johnson. We invite clients to be involved throughout their building project, and we promise to remain open and responsive regarding costs, timelines, building processes, and materials.

There are numerous activities and details to manage in every building project, and our goal is to make sure every detail of your project happens flawlessly to your satisfaction. For example with new home construction, there are generally five key areas of activity during construction:

  • Sitework: excavation, drainage, paving and surfacing, utilities, landscaping
  • Foundation: concrete work and masonry
  • Framing: steel or wood framing, trusses, windows and doors
  • Subcontractors: electricity, plumbing, insulation, heating
  • Finishes: drywall, trim, colors, flooring plumbing fixtures

Ken Krumdieck Inc. uses subcontractors we’ve worked with across many projects, and often for many years. Subcontractors are chosen and evaluated based on their skill, quality of work, ease of working with them, their ability to communicate well, and their follow up after the completion of a project.
